Early-morning traffic stop leads to narcotics seizure

Single-vehicle accident on Rte. 301 in Thorne

A single-vehicle accident took place on Rte. 301 in the Thorne area last night around 11 p.m. The driver swerved to avoid a deer and ended up in a swamp near the road. Fortunately, the driver escaped unscathed but the vehicle is a total loss.
