Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi to hold third annual virtual job fair in October

On October 18, the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi du Pontiac will be holding their third annual virtual job fair.

Jessica Kelly, an intervention services coordinator with the CJEP explained that while they had made adjustments to hold their event during the pandemic, they found that holding the fair virtually made it easier for both employers and job seekers to connect, even if they’re from far-flung parts of the region.

The fair will take place on October 18 from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Though the interactions will take place virtually, the CJEP will also have three physical locations available for those without high-speed internet: the Maison de la Famille du Pontiac (161, rue Principale, Fort-Coulonge), the Pontiac Continuing Education Center (89, rue Centre Shawville) and the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi du Pontiac office (80, rue Leslie, Campbell’s Bay).
