SAAQ service interruptions extended

The previously announced service interruptions at provincial license bureau offices (SAAQ) have been extended by several days. The offices will now have significantly reduced services from January 26 at 5 p.m. to February 19. The reason for these interruptions is to prepare for the rollout of the SAAQ’s new online service portal, SAAQclic.

Between January 26 at 5 p.m. and February 19, the following services will not be available at any SAAQ offices in the province:

• Driver’s license renewal with or without photo
• Health insurance card renewal
• Transfer of registration between individuals
• Vehicle registration renewal
• Integration of CVM
• Registration of a hand-crafted trailer
• Registration of a vehicle purchased from a merchant

During this period, the office in Campbell’s Bay will only be able to replace a lost or stolen driver’s license. Any questions can be directed to 1-800-361-7620 or www.saaq.gouv.qc.ca.
