A competition is being organized for the municipalities of L’Ange-Gardien, Cantley, Chelsea and La Pêche to educate their citizens about sorting residual materials through the Pro du tri quiz. This competition, which will run until March 23, also made possible thanks to the participation of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, invites citizens to test their knowledge to become Recycling Pros and bring a win to their municipality.

During the press conference launching the competition, the mayor of La Pêche, Guillaume Lamoureux, stressed the importance of making the population aware of good habits regarding the management of residual materials.

“Without the women and men who work in waste management, we simply could not function. I would therefore like to thank them, but I sincerely believe that it is by raising the awareness of the population that we will help, ”said the mayor of La Pêche, Guillaume Lamoureux.

“It is by organizing this kind of healthy, friendly and convivial competition that we will succeed in becoming better collectively” believes Guillaume Lamoureux.

Each point that participants accumulate propels their municipality to the first rank. This is an opportunity not only to refresh their knowledge in order to practice good sorting, but also to discover all the services offered locally and in the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais.

The citizens of L’Ange-Gardien, Cantley, Chelsea and La Pêche are therefore invited to measure themselves against each other, in a spirit of regional brotherhood. People can register through the website here.
