Warden: Commonwealth Plywood re-opening site in Rapides-des-Joachims

The President of Commonwealth Plywood, Bill (William) Caine asked MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller to announce this morning (October 12) that they would be re-opening their mill site in Rapides-des-Joachims in the coming weeks. Toller said that job offers would soon be posted.

The factory had not been in operation for ten years, but in recent weeks Commonwelth Plywood carried out work inside the industrial site to make it operational again. Jane Toller has also maintained regular communications with Mr. Caine since 2018. More details to come.
