Village en fête changing locations, adding “touch-a-truck”

The annual Village en fête celebration in Fort-Coulonge is once again returning on June 8, with a few changes from years previous.

Organizer Claudee Galipeau explained that this year they were moving their location from rue Baume to rue Bryson. She added that the activities would be similar to previous iterations, but they were adding a “touch-a-truck” event for the children, which allows children to explore different vehicles and learn about them from their drivers.

Galipeau said that more information will be published on the municipality’s Facebook page in the near future, and anyone looking to become a vendor can reach out to her or the municipality.
