The public consultation on forestry activities in the Outaouais has begun

From January 6 to 30, 2021, the MRC Pontiac invites the population to express their concerns regarding new potential intervention sectors and an infrastructure (forest camp) on public land within the framework of operational integrated forest management plans (PAFIO) 2018-2023 from the Outaouais.

In collaboration with the MRC Pontiac, the Department will hold two virtual information sessions in which will be specified how to submit comments online as well as the follow-up given to concerns raised in public consultation. A question period from participants will complete the activity. These two sessions will be held via the Zoom application on:

Wednesday January 13, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Registration before January 12 at noon

Thursday, January 21, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. – Registration before January 20 at noon
