The Pontiac MRC supports the request of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers

The Pontiac MRC supports the request of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers to the Government of Canada.

The MRC Pontiac Council mandated Warden, Jane Toller, to sign a letter to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to establish, among other things, a Postal Bank, which would provide day-to-day banking and private sector partnerships, local and regional community-based Internet service companies, as well as existing free networks. This request was made in support of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers’ proposal to the Government of Canada.
