The organizer of the 2022 Bristol Dryland Canadian Championship Dog Race, Denis Rozon describes this year’s event as a major success, going so far as to say that it may be the best edition of the event since it’s inception.

For this twelfth edition of the Bristol Dryland, which occurred over the weekend of October 29-30, Rozon says one of the bigger differences he observed as compared to first year they hosted the competition was the number of participants from Quebec.

Rozon added that collectively the Quebec racers are becoming the best in the world in this discipline.

There’s currently a lot of uncertainty as to the future of the Bristol Dryland, now even more-so that the event attracting more and more Quebecers, as Denis Rozon has expressed some interest in retiring, but Rozon says he would like to see the event continue and is hoping to find a few people that will be motivated to keep it going in the future.
