The MRC Pontiac has the lowest vaccination rate in the Outaouais

According to the most recent data from the Centre intégrée de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais on vaccination, for the first dose, the MRC Pontiac has the lowest vaccination rate in the Outaouais.

According to the CISSS de l’Outaouais, vaccination coverage for the whole of the Outaouais as of July 14 is 67.5% for the first dose and 40.4% for the second dose. “25,600 people remain to be vaccinated to reach the target of 75% of the population of the Outaouais vaccinated“, specifies the CISSS de l’Outaouais.

According to data by age group in the region (see table below), the lowest vaccination coverage rate is found among 25 to 29 year olds, with 58% in the Outaouais, compared to 67% in this group for all regions in Quebec.

Note that all age groups under 45 in the Outaouais have not yet reached 75% vaccination coverage.
