The 2022 Fort-Coulonge Country Festival ends with positive remarks

9 June 2022 à 12:00 am

The 2022 edition of the Fort-Coulonge–Mansfield Country Festival ended last Sunday and the organizers, Carole Faubert and Phil Denault, gave a very positive assessment of the event.

“This year, I can confirm to you that it was a feeling of great risk that we felt by organizing our festival. And, also, to organize this 5th edition in 2 and a half months, as soon as the announcement of the relaxation of the rules related to the pandemic, was really a huge challenge for us. But we had the impression that people needed to go out and see friends,” said Carole Faubert on Facebook (Translated).

Just over 200 recreational vehicles and approximately 800 people attended this event throughout the weekend, including just over 200 people from the Pontiac on Saturday, which represents a record for this event in its fifth edition.

“All the other people come from elsewhere in Quebec, Ontario. Many traveled over 7 hours to come see us. “, clarified Carole Faubert (Translated).

This edition is also unique, since Carole Faubert and Phil Denault took the opportunity to release an album. Moreover, people interested in obtaining the album can obtain them at the CHIP 101.9 office, or from Carole Faubert at 613-914-8660.

The 6th edition of the Fort-Coulonge–Mansfield Country Festival should take place from June 1 to 4, 2023. “ I will be working on the next edition starting in the fall ”, concluded Carole Faubert.
