12 April 2021 à 12:00 am

The country Festival in Fort-Coulonge/Mansfield had to face the facts and just like last year, the event will not take place this year. In a Facebook post, the Festival organizers announced that the current context surrounding COVID-19 did not allow them to hold the event.

« It is with regret and compassion for artists, musicians, technicians and service providers, that due to Covid, we announce you that we won’t be able to have our festival again this year. Everything is postponed in 2022 (June 2-5). I will communicate with the artists in fall. Take care and it will be our pleasure to see you again. Phil Denault and Carole Faubert »

The Festival, which is held at the Centre de Loisir des Draveurs (arena) located in Fort-Coulonge, attracted hundreds of country music fans from across Quebec, Ontario and even New-Brunswick during its first editions.
