The Shawville Curling Club will be holding an open-house this Friday (November 5) from 6 to 9 p.m. The bar will be open and attendees who pay their membership dues will have a chance to try out the club’s new golf simulator. Board member Jeff Russell said that the club was doing its best to bounce back from a cancelled season.

He added that there will be some public health restrictions at the club going forward, such as requiring proof of vaccination for members. However, masks will not be required on the ice or in the club while eating or drinking.

The full interview with Russell is available here.
