MNA André Fortin announced seven new subsidized child care places in the riding of Pontiac.
This recognition of the need comes from the Government of Quebec’s review of educational childcare. This measure allows the province to better meet the needs of parents and contributes to the implementation of its commitment to offer Quebec families more time to reconcile family life and professional aspirations.

The MNA for Pontiac and Minister of Transport, André Fortin, made the announcement on behalf of the Minister of Family, Mr. Luc Fortin During his visit to the CPE Le Chatelet.

Last December, Minister of Family Luc Fortin announced the creation of 192 new subsidized places throughout Quebec as part of the revision of the educational childcare services. Priority was given, in particular, to facility projects that met the needs of specific children, such as those children with disabilities or disadvantaged backgrounds. In addition, the service providers must make the places available within three months of the date of authorization of the project.
