Second Outaouais Herb Gathering coming to local farm August 9-11

A festival for herb-lovers in the region will be taking place from August 9 to 11 at La Fée des Bois Apothecary in Thorne.

Owner Mariane Desjardins Roy explained that the event is a continuation of the Wakefield Herb Gathering that took place last year and will feature workshops, music and storytelling, based around the theme “The Medicine of our Ancestors”. She said that the event is open to everyone from experienced herbalists to gardeners to those with absolutely no previous experience.
