SADC Pontiac holds annual Christmas networking event

14 December 2023 à 3:47 pm

On Thursday morning (November 14) around 40 people turned out to SADC Pontiac’s office in Fort-Coulonge for the organization’s annual “mingle and jingle” networking breakfast. Funded by Economic Development Canada, the organization offers a broad range of services to businesses in the region, from loans to marketing advice to workshops with subject matter experts.

Director General Rhonda Perry explained that this year has been a big one for them, as they renovated and moved into their current building on rue Baume back in April. The new digs allow them to offer conference rooms, offices and even a multimedia room for local businesses.

Jon Stewart of Calumet Media & Consulting was the featured guest for the event, and gave a brief presentation on how companies can leverage their data for marketing, customer retention and other uses.

He also briefly discussed Act 25, Quebec’s new privacy law governing how organizations store and use personal information.
