Registration for Fort-Coulonge Minor Hockey
Registration for Fort-Coulonge Minor Hockey
It has now been possible for more than two weeks to register for Minor Hockey for the municipality of Fort-Coulonge. This year, registrations are only online on their website. The president of the Fort-Coulonge Minor Hockey Association, Paul Boisvert, gives us the registration costs for each category this year.
Paul Boisvert: “It goes by category. The youngest 0-4 years old, the price is $165. After that, it goes up to $265 for 6–7 year old. After the category that novices N9 at $450. The M11 to U18 is $550. This year we try a new category which is the M21, so for the older for $600. Each parent will receive a ticket sale after registration which is a value of $65 that can be kept for themselves. So we can reduce the costs by $65 if the parents sell the tickets and keep the money.”
A fundraising activity for minor hockey in Fort-Coulonge that was supposed to take place on July 28 had been cancelled. Mr. Boisvert says he is not worried since other activities to finance minor hockey are already planned.
Paul Boisvert: “For sure we will do all the fundraising that can be done. We always do this in order to keep our registrations lower. We had a golf tournament that it’s been 2 years since we started doing it again. We should have raised $4,000 with this fundraising. We also have a family ball tournament on August 4 that we have been doing now every year for 25 years.”
