Regional Association of West Quebecers to host information session in Shawville

The Regional Association of West Quebecers (RAWQ) will be hosting an information session in Shawville this coming Tuesday (August 3) to discuss the implications of two pieces of legislation on Quebec’s English-speaking community.

The event will take place in the Homecraft Hall on the Shawville Fairgrounds (215 Lang Street) at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30). There will also be options for participating virtually.

The RAWQ’s Executive Director Jeanne Nivischiuk said that the discussion will focus on the impacts of Quebec’s Bill 96 and Federal Bill C-32 on the province’s English-speaking community.
