RCMP Musical Ride in Bryson Saturday for 150th celebrations
The RCMP Musical Ride will be in Bryson Saturday (May 13) as part of the municipality’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
“The troop of up to 32 riders, who are all police officers, and their horses perform intricate formations and drills set to music, lasting about 30 minutes. These movements demand the utmost control, timing, and coordination,” the description on the Ride’s website reads.
The ceremony will begin at 1:45 p.m., but the Committee also invites the public to arrive at 1:00 p.m. since there will be other activities taking place on site at the Bryson Lions Park (660 rue Principale). Admission is free and parking is available at the Forest Inn.
