Quyon woman, 31, arrested for impaired driving Saturday
A 31-year-old Quyon woman was arrested on Saturday (July 6) at around 9:20 p.m. for driving with a blood alcohol level 2.5 times the legal limit.
MRC des Collines Police were tipped off by a witness that the woman was departing an event taking place in town while intoxicated and officers intercepted her. In addition to impaired driving charges, she had her license suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
In a statement, des Collines Police urged the public to report impaired drivers by calling 911, “because you never know what could happen.”
