It is the turn of the members of the Syndicat du personnel professionnel du milieu scolaire de l’Outaouais (SPPMSO-CSQ) to be on strike this Thursday, April 29. This strike affects approximately 35 employees, who may be specialized educators, psychoeducators or others, of the Centre de services scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais in the Pontiac. The president of the Syndicat du personnel professionnelle du milieu scolaire de l’Outaouais, Annie St-Pierre, maintains that the demonstrations that will take place underline a deep dissatisfaction with the offers made by the government at the negotiating table, that she qualifies as unacceptable.

Since schools are currently closed, student appointments with professional staff will be canceled.

Note that the demonstrations will take place in front of the offices of the CAQ members of the region, namely Mathieu Lacombe (Papineau), Mathieu Lévesque (Chapleau) and Robert Bussière (Gatineau).

The French interview with the president of the Syndicat du personnel professionnel du milieu scolaire de l’Outaouais (SPPMSO-CSQ), Annie St-Pierre, is available here.
