Pontiac Senior Comets sign head coach, finalizing roster

Following the announcement earlier this summer that the Pontiac Senior Comets would be returning to the ice this season, the team recently signed a new head coach, Luc Danis of Bryson.

Originally from Chelsea, Danis has experience playing junior and senior hockey, as well as coaching Midget AA in Hull and house league in Fort-Coulonge. He explained that they were in the process of filling out their roster, noting that at this point they were primarily looking for defensemen.

Team co-owner Danick Boisvert said that Danis had a lot of experience playing high level hockey and would be a respected presence behind the bench.

Boisvert also spoke about some of the additions they made to the team’s organizing committee in the lead up to this year’s season.
