Pontiac Senior Comets selling season tickets at Village en fête Saturday
The Pontiac Senior Comets will be back on the ice this fall, this year as part of the Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League (EOSHL). Comets owner Sébastien Bonnerot will be taking reservations for those wishing to book their season tickets at the Village en fête celebrations in Fort-Coulonge Saturday.
“I’m going to share this wonderful day with you on Saturday, so I’ll be there from the opening in the morning to the afternoon,” he said (translated). “So, with [team mascot] Slash and it’s going to be a pleasure to meet the fans, also to discuss possible partnerships for those who have businesses and wanted to get on board with us for the season. We’re going to have a 20-game season, 10 games in Fort-Coulonge, at the Century 21 Élite arena, plus the playoffs. So, it’s going to be a season that’s going to start at the beginning of October and extend to the end of February, with the playoffs most likely starting at the beginning of March, and it’s all going to depend on how things go, but we’re going to have 10 local games, and we’re going to offer local fans the opportunity to get their tickets. We’ll have different categories of tickets, we’ll have general tickets that give access to the arena inside.”
The Comets have begun announcing the players they’ve signed for this season on their Facebook page.
