Pontiac man arrested on child pornography charges

The Major Crimes Investigations Division of the Gatineau Police, in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec, arrested a Municipality of Pontiac man on November 24 in relation to child pornography offences alleged to have occurred in 2021.

Yzak Renaud-Beaudry, 20, appeared at the Gatineau courthouse the same day, and was charged with possessing, distributing and making child pornography accessible.

Police carried out a search of the suspect’s home and computer equipment was seized for analysis.
