Pontiac Maison des Jeunes to host children’s carnival in Chapeau

The Maison des Jeunes du Pontiac will be hosting a series of youth-led children’s carnivals called Animation Sur Roues, in several community parks over the course of the summer, with the first iteration that took place in Campbell’s Bay last week.

The events will feature numerous games, snacks and prizes, suitable for children aged 7 to 14, and have been organized and hosted by a team of 19 older youth animators.

Their next event will be held on July 28 at the Chapeau Recreation Centre park located at 78 chemin Pembroke, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Supervisor Desiree Tremblay Giroux explained that they will still be enforcing public health rules regarding distancing.
