The Pontiac Community Players are continuing their tradition of Christmas radio play performances this weekend, with shows at three local churches.
Organizer Greg Graham explained that a radio play is a throwback to the early 1900s, where audiences use their imaginations to visualize the action being narrated by the cast.

This year the group will be performing The Magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis, a volume in the popular Chronicles of Narnia series of children’s books. Graham explained that the story is an interesting way of explaining complex or difficult topics simply through a child’s adventure story.

Admission to the three performances this weekend is free, but there will be a good will offering taken.

The full interview with Graham is available here.
