New owners have acquired the Mickey Creek Golf Club in Litchfield. Rod Quinn and his wife Robin purchased this property which also includes a restaurant. CHIP 101.9 spoke with Quinn who outlined his vision for the Golf Club. A businessman experienced mainly in northern Quebec, Rod Quinn hopes to attract new customers and become a tourist hub in the Pontiac. He hopes not only to attract golfers and customers to the restaurant, but also to offer accommodation for customers of the golf course, but also for snowmobilers in winter.

“I wanted to tell the world that we are here, we want people to come here to play and have fun. Yes, the vision includes several things. Really, we want to be a place where people can come to play more golf, it’s to have places to stay. So, we want to build small cabins for people to rent. If you wanna come and play some golf, there’s gonna be a place to stay for the weekend. We will be open during the winter, so in addition, if you want to come and do Ski-doo, there will be a place. »
