New lighting, signage for Campbell’s Bay waterfront
If you’re down by the docks in Campbell’s Bay after dark, you may notice a different ambiance, as the town has recently installed new strip lighting on the municipal docks and boat launch. In addition to the 220 feet of waterproof LED lighting, the municipality also added some tourism signage for amphibious visitors to the town, as well as new street banners.
Director General Sarah Bertrand explained that they were able to brighten up the waterfront with the help of a roughly $21,000 grant through the FRR program, which is funded by the provincial Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and administered by MRC Pontiac.
