Nearly a dozen players confirmed for Senior Comets

Since announcing the return of senior hockey to Fort-Coulonge, the Pontiac Senior Comets have announced via their Facebook page nearly a dozen players under contract with the team for next season.

The Comets have already announced the return of their 2019-2020 captain, Darcy Findlay, as well as Matt Warren and local player Connor Romain. Also joining the Comets are two former Gatineau Flames, Étienne Champagne and Keyshawn Francis, as well as players from various other leagues, such as Samuel Sanford-Roy, Dominic Jalbert and Olivier Knight-Rouleau.

The Comets will join the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League for the upcoming campaign. Further contract signings are expected to be announced shortly.
