Naomie and Xavier Lusignan are once again on the highest step of the podium

Members of the Lusignan family stood out once again this weekend at the Canadian Junior Weightlifting Championships, which were held on the south shore of Montreal.

The youngest member of the family, Naomie Lusignan, won her first Canadian title in the 71 kg category, she finished with a total of 184 kg.

For his part, her brother Xavier retained his title of Canadian champion for the third consecutive year, while winning the title of the most weight lifted in all categories.

Note that Mansfield-et-Pontefract resident, Xavier Lusignan, of set a new personal best by lifting 180 kg.
