MRC Pontiac seeking strategic communications advisor

The MRC Pontiac has published a new job offer for the position of strategic communications advisor, currently occupied by Colleen Jones, who will be departing at the end of August.

According to the job description, the strategic communications advisor reports to the Director General and, based on the directives, orientations and priorities of the Warden, is responsible for disseminating information to the MRC Pontiac’s external and internal clientele, as well as coordinating media and public communications related to the organization’s activities and events. Tasks include:

• Implement the organization’s communications vision across all departments;
• Develop communication tools adapted to the organization’s target audiences;
• Support and advise MRC employees in their communications and marketing initiatives;

The post is a full-time management position, 35 hrs/week (some meetings outside normal hours are possible). Annual salary is between $61,987 and $81,570 depending on experience.
