MRC Pontiac posts job listing for Director General

MRC Pontiac has posted a job listing for the position of Director General, a little over a month after the departure of Bernard Roy on November 4. The post has been filled in the interim by engineer Kim Lesage. 

Among the requirements, applicants are asked to have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in management or executive activities and to have significant achievements to their credit. The experience must have been acquired in work environments of a similar size. Reporting to the MRC Council, the director general ensures the planning, organization, management and control of all activities and services, in accordance with the Municipal Code of Quebec and the Municipal Powers Act. The schedule is 40 hours per week (the schedule may vary according to the needs of the organization), including 15 statutory holidays and 12 sick days per year, as well as annual vacations. The annual salary is between $100,109 – $131,737 depending on the candidate’s experience and a pension and group insurance plan is also included.
