MRC appoints new Economic Development Director

At a special meeting of MRC Pontiac council on March 13, the mayors passed a resolution approving the appointment of Pierre Cadieux as the new Economic Development Director. The position has been vacant since Guillaume Boudreau resigned in December 2023.

Cadieux declined to be interviewed following the meeting, but briefly addressed the mayors. He said that he has experience with the federal government working for a member of parliament, as a civil servant, as well as representing various industry groups.
