Liberal candidate visits the Shawville Fair

This Labour Day weekend, Pontiac Liberal candidate Sophie Chatel took in the Shawville Fair and met several farmers from the area. She was accompanied by MNA André Fortin, who introduced her to some of the locals.

“It was wonderful, absolutely wonderful to see the energy of this beautiful community,” she said.

Chatel will continue knocking on doors throughout the region in the coming days, and will participate in a debate organized by the Chair in Taxation and Public Finance at the University of Sherbrooke on tax and public finance issues on September 10. She will also be at the CHGA radio debate (Vallée-de-la-Gatineau), which will take place this Thursday.
