Kathleen Bélec seeks another term in Mansfield

Kathleen Bélec said that she’s returning to politics to help relaunch the economy of Mansfield-et-Pontefract. Speaking to CHIP 101.9, she said that she said that the municipal council has done good work over the past four years.

During her time as mayor between 2013 and 2017, Bélec was known for defending the relaunch of the Davidson industrial site. She said that she still wants to pursue that file.

“The Davidson project is a good project. I am very proud of the work they’ve done over four years,” she said (translated).

CHIP 101.9 will be hosting a discussion between Bélec and the other candidate for the mayor of Mansfield, outgoing councillor Sandra Armstrong, which will be broadcast on the radio October 20 at noon.
