“I am confident that the bridge project between LÎle-du-Grand-Calumet and Fort-Coulonge/Mansfield will move forward,” says Warden Toller

The idea to build a bridge between l’Île-du-Grand-Calumet and the Fort-Coulonge/Mansfield community is still on MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller’s radar.

In an interview, Toller talked about having a meeting with all three municipal councils and said all agreed that having a bridge between the municipalities was a very important project to unite the three predominantly French communities.

The Warden is currently asking the three municipalities to conduct a feasibility study before meeting with the Quebec and Canadian government to obtain the financial assistance.
