Fort-Coulonge arena committee hosting business expo, burlesque night
The committee in charge of the Centre de Loisirs des Draveurs Century 21 Élite in Fort-Coulonge is hosting several upcoming events to fundraise for the facility’s refrigeration system.
Committee member Heidi Newberry explained that they were soliciting local entrepreneurs to showcase their wares and services at their upcoming business expo on Saturday May 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost of a table is $100 or $125 with electricity access. She also spoke about a burlesque night that they will be hosting on May 11, featuring ten sultry performers from far and wide. The event is for ages 18+ and will feature a dance party with DJ Martin Leguerrier once the performance ends around 10 p.m.
Newberry explained that these and other fundraising events in their calendar would be putting money towards the arena’s ailing refrigeration system.
