Expansion planned for snowmobile and ATV trails in MRC Pontiac

According to information obtained by CHIP 101.9, the MRC Pontiac and its partners in the area are about to develop a new network of snowmobile and quad trails for the MRC Pontiac to improve travel between municipalities .

CHIP 101.9 confirmed that the PPJ bike path would not be part of this expansion but several details are forthcoming and should be known soon. The Pontiac MRC Warden, Jane Toller, had said at the Isle-aux-Allumettes municipal meeting last week that she hoped to mobilize elected officials to create new avenues for snowmobilers and quads users that can achieve a greater impact on the local economy.

During the election campaign last November, Jane Toller had already stated that she is in favor of improving the network for snowmobiles and quads.
