Evening closures of the Chenaux Bridge starting next week

Ontario Power Generation is warning motorists that the inter-provincial bridge near the Chenaux Generating Station in Portage-du-Fort will be closing periodically overnight, starting next week.

In a press release, OPG stated that the closures were due to to work on the bridge to Limerick Island.

The closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and are currently scheduled as follows:

• June 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29 and 30

• July 19 and 21

• Sept. 5, 6, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26 and 27
