Equality of school taxes: injustice for the Outaouais according to the CAQ

The Coalition Avenir Québec has criticized the solution proposed by the Couillard government, concerning the parity of school taxes in the Outaouais. CAQ Education Critic Jean-François Roberge says that those in the Outaouais will end up paying 23% more in school taxes:

He said that residents of the Outaouais will pay more than the rest of the province. The CAQ proposes a single rate in Quebec and Jean-François Roberge states that there will be no compression, even if the sums collected will be less for the government:
