Deadline approaching for feedback on SADC’s strategic 5-year plan
The deadline is fast approaching for stakeholders to respond to SADC Pontiac’s survey on their 2024-29 strategic plan. SADCs are federally-funded non-profit organizations that offers economic development assistance for rural areas.
Director Rhonda Perry explained that every time they renew their funding agreement with Economic Development Canada, they have to come up with a strategic plan to execute over the five year period. She added that a consulting firm would be conducting the survey and presenting the results to SADC Pontiac’s board and staff later this summer. The deadline for SADC clients or affiliated organizations such as municipalities to respond is July 15.
She said that the survey seeks to find ways where they can make the application process easier, as well as how to better target their funding.
