Following the recent publication of the photo of MP William Amos naked, the Conservative candidate in the next federal election for the riding of Pontiac, Michel Gauthier, released a statement in which he said he did not want to comment on the situation. The completely nude photo of William Amos circulating around the world, in the media and on the web, is gaining attention in the House of Commons in Ottawa.

ABOUT THE EVENT AT THE HOUSE OF COMMONS
“The rather unusual news spread like wildfire, in the evening, in all the media and on social networks: a photo of the Liberal MP for Pontiac, naked in his office in the House of Commons. Despite the absurdity of the situation, I do not intend to comment on this event. I accepted to be a Conservative candidate in order to offer the voters of Pontiac and the Outaouais a new voice and serious leadership in Ottawa. I remain focused on this objective. What concerns us most at this time is to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic, to put the region’s economy back on its feet and to offer all our fellow citizens the hope that we will be able to put forward viable solutions for our future ”, published Michel Gauthier this morning (April 15).

Many media outlets and a good number of Internet users have commented on the photo of the member for Pontiac. Recall that William Amos offered his apologies to the House of Commons and explained the incident.

“It was an unfortunate mistake. My video was accidentally turned on while changing into work clothes after jogging. Obviously that was an honest mistake and it will not happen again, ”said the MP for Pontiac.
