CISSSO to open clinic for children 0-17 in Gatineau

Regional health authority CISSSO is opening a clinic for young people near the Gatineau Hospital, in an effort to divert patients without a family doctor from emergency rooms. The clinic will be open by appointment Monday to Friday starting November 21 at 500 boulevard de l’Hôpital in Gatineau (across the street from the Gatineau Hospital).

Before calling to make an appointment, the CISSSO asks that residents call Info-Santé pediatric line at 811 or consult their pharmacist. If the situation requires an assessment and the child doesn’t have a family physician, an appointment can be made by calling 819-966-6201 or 1-833-966-6201, or via their website.
