Chenaux Bridge closed overnight July 5 and 6

Ontario Power Generation is warning motorists that the interprovincial bridge near the Chenaux Generating Station in Portage du Fort will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on July 5 and 6. The cause of the closures are upgrades to structures on the bridge to Limerick Island.

The full list of closure dates at this point are as follows:

– July 5, 6, 19 & 21
– September 5, 6, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26 & 27

OPG notes that the schedule is subject to change, and the closures on the 5th and 6th were added recently with little notice.
