CFP Pontiac launches a new training program for caregivers
The Centre de formation profesionnel (CFP) du Pontiac, confirmed that their new Caregiver training course (programme Assistance à la personne en établissement et à domicile) which has sometimes been called DEP en santé or préposé aux beneficiaries, is officially set to start on November 07. This training will take place at the CFP located in Mansfield-et-Pontefract.
The assistant director of the Service de l’Éducation des adultes et de la formation profesionnelle, Daniel Larche, says there’s still room to join the program.
It is an 870-hour course and generous scholarships and conditions are being offered for certain students who qualify. A paid internship is generally added to the training as well.
According to the information obtained by CHIP 101.9, in normal times, 6 registrations would not have been enough to start this course, but the CFP Pontiac managers considered that the demand to fill positions in the field was too important to pass by 6 potential candidates.
CFP Pontiac officials hope that other people will be able to register before the course starts on November 07. Those interested can communicate directly with the CFP Pontiac at (819) 683-1419.
