For the 3rd consecutive year, a softball tournament will be held during the weekend of September 29 and 30 / October 1 at Amyotte Park in Mansfield.

Élise Jolin in collaboration with Bouffe Pontiac and a team of volunteers organize this softball tournament to benefit Bouffe Pontiac. In a statement last week, Bouffe Pontiac said that over the years, the tournament has become the biggest annual softball tournament, attracting teams from neighboring municipalities of Gatineau, Ottawa and Pembroke.

The funds raised will be used to provide a healthy source of food for the families in need in the Pontiac MRC.

Bouffe Pontiac is very proud that Pontiac MNA André Fortin has agreed to be the honorary president of the tournament. André Fortin will pitch the first ball of the tournament, accompanied by the organizers of the tournament and some municipal officials at the official opening of the tournament Friday, September 29 at 6 pm at Parc Amyotte.

For more information, please contact Bouffe Pontiac’s Director, Ellen Boucher at 819-648-2550 or by e-mail at bouffepontiac@yahoo.fr.
