A possible restart for Rapide-des-Joachims mill
Yesterday during a special broadcast live from the MRC Pontiac, an interview conducted with the MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller, who confided that she met recently with the Commonwealth Plywood President, William T Caine, whose company still owns a mill located in Rapide-des-Joachims. When it came to the forest industry, she said she hoped to see Commonwealth Plywood take an interest in restarting the mill.
The warden also stated that Fiber Pontiac’s biomass project may go ahead faster than expected.
