37 CSHBO youth participate in the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie

Sieur de Coulonge was one of the six secondary schools of the commission scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais to participate in the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie on May 13 and 14.

37 youths accompanied by 6 other people represented the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais during this 30-hour relay challenge. Departure was from Parliament Hill on May 13 at 8:30 am and ended at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal on May 14 at 3:00 pm. The relay route totalled 270km with runners switching off every 1km to 2km.

The challenge is to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
