$350,000 in funding available through FRR Component 2

Yesterday (August 15), MRC Pontiac launched a call for projects for the Regions and Rurality Fund (FRR) – Component 2, an envelope with $350,000 for eligible projects made available through the provincial Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MAMH). This component is targeting projects that will “improve living environments and encourage the implementation of initiatives leading to the revitalization of living environments in the MRC Pontiac and/or to create and maintain jobs on the MRC Pontiac territory.”

The funding is available for municipalities, band councils, cooperatives and non-profit organizations. Applicants must meet with a member of the MRC’s economic development department between August 16 and September 22, 2023 in order to be eligible. The deadline to apply is September 28 at noon.
