The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Pierre Fitzgibbon, and the Member for Chapleau and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Justice, Mathieu Lévesque, announced the payment of a financial contribution of $ 200,000 to the Institut Innovation Gatineau so that it supports young innovative companies with high growth potential (startups) in the realization of their projects. Financial assistance was provided to enable it to expand and enrich its programs, a project valued at nearly $ 1.5 million.

The project was selected as part of a call for proposals from Startup QuebecMD, Support for incubators, business accelerators and university entrepreneurship centers, launched in July 2020.
